The Blood Oxygen app will not return to the usual watch face but is stuck on "options choice" screen

How do i fix this?

Short summary:

  1. Press and hold both the Digital Crown and the side button on your Apple Watch.
  2. Keep holding both buttons until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
  3. Release both buttons and wait for your watch to restart.
  4. When your watch is restarted, try to access the watch face.
  5. If you're still unable to access the watch face, try to force quit the Blood Oxygen app by pressing and holding the side button on your watch until the power off slider appears, then release the button. Press and hold the side button again until the app closes.
  6. If the app is still stuck on the "View options" screen, try restarting your watch again using the same steps as above.

I searched on Apple help but could not find anything prertinent

Got it
Tell me, please, have you tried to force quit the Blood Oxygen app? You can do this by pressing and holding the side button on your watch until the power off slider appears, then release the button. Press and hold the side button again until the app closes.

My Blood Oxygen app is stuck on "View options" and will not return the usual watch face

So have you tried the way to close it that I sent you above?

All I get is a connection to Siri, not the power off slider

  2. Keep holding both buttons until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
  3. Release both buttons and wait for your watch to restart.
Please, try it and tell me if it works
