My Samsung phone is locked, need to reset it

- If the phone asks for a PIN, try entering "0000" as the default PIN.

Try entering the code by just using the keyboard, not trying to dial it.
I cannot try it as the pin box is on the screen and it will first complete the pen and fail for a third time!

Did you restart it before it asked for the code? It may ask for a security code for the SIM card after restarting it.
