My iPhone 11 is stuckverifying udate for IOS 16.1.2

Could you tell me what you see on your iPhone 11 screen?
My iPhone 11 attempted an automatic update last night to IOS 16.1.2 . It is stuck "verifying Update," I tried powering the phone off, but it won't allow that either, because it its "verifying Update,"
Could you try pressing and holding the Power Button and Volume up button for 15 seconds?
The screen shows my background. The time and date. There are two notificationns I can see. One for Settings. One saying an error occured installing the update.. Then there is a huge bright banner saying "Verifying Update" witht he little wheel turning around. It has benn doning tit for hours.

When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.
Now my emergency page is shown. The phoe is not powering off.
If you see an emergency page, could you swipe from the bottom of the iPhone screen to get back to the iPhone main menu?
