I have a Facebook account I want to DELETE

Go to facebook.com/login/identify.
Search account using phone number or email.
Select "No longer have access to these?" and follow prompts. - Reinstall Facebook App on iPad:
Delete and redownload Facebook app from App Store.
Open app and log in using correct credentials. - Change Email Address on Facebook:
Tap top right of Facebook.
Go to "Settings" > "Personal Information" > "Contact Info".
Add new email address and save changes.

That is not showing up.

I see my account that I want to keep. But it just has the picture and at the bottom of the screen the cog wheel for settings, a space, then log into another account or sign up for facebook.

It just says get notifications or remove account. But this is the account I want to keep!

- Open your Facebook account on the web and click on the down arrow at the top-right corner of the page.
- From the dropdown menu that appears, click “Log Out” to sign out of this Facebook account.
Then try to log in again using your email and password to your original FB account

I would recommend the following steps:
- Go to facebook.com/login/identify
Find your account by searching for your phone number or email address. - Select “No longer have access to these?”.
- On the "I've lost access to my login details" screen select "Start".
- Then add a new email address or you can choose to add a phone number instead.
- Next you'll be offered to either enter the old password to your account that you remember or to submit your ID document.
- If you choose to enter a password then you'll need to confirm a new email or phone number. If you choose to upload your ID then press "Send". You will receive a message that Facebook will contact you via email shortly.
And then you'll be able to restore your access

The phone number starts with +55 because I'm in Brazil. But it has sent other messages today.
